Remote Database Access Hosts

It say that: You can allow external web servers to access your MySQL databases by adding their domain name to the list of hosts that are able to access databases on your web site.   Yes, you can add IP addresses instead of domain names when using the "Remote MySQL" option in cPanel or "Additional MySQL Access Hosts" in WHM. Thank you.
