SSL not working

There are several things that can cause this, but I'm afraid the information provided isn't really enough for us to provide any real guidance. Some things to check: - Is this site installed on a dedicated IP? - If so, does the website resolve to the same IP as what it's configured for in WHM? - What OS is your server running (CentOS 5 or CentOS 6), and what is your client OS * I bring this up because if you're using SNI, it does not work properly on CentOS 5 server or Windows XP clients - Does the website load without https? Hello, No, the site is installed on a shared IP. CentOS 6. I know SNI works because I have 3 other SSL certs on the same IP. Just this one isn't working. Yes, the site loads without https.

So, the SSL is installed on a shared with other certificates, using SNI. You said the site takes a while to generate an error. Have you checked the Apache error logs to see if there's an issue being reported in there? If the site works on non-https that rules out a DNS problem, so it would seem that the problem is either in the Apache config or the website itself.

I can't seem to find the error logs, the ones I found just showed the following over and over: [Mon Apr 21 22:18:24 2014] [error] [client 173.245.56.132] File does not exist: /home/emerald/public_html/robots.txt (and different files other than robots.txt)

Hello :) It seems like there might be an issue with the script you are using. Try setting up a static HTML page and open it with the secure URL to see if it succeeds. Thank you.

I later discovered that the SSL was setup fine, I just had CloudFlare free enabled which was disabling the SSL.

I am happy see you were able to determine the cause of the issue. Thank you for updating us with the outcome.
