Backups from Server to PC
Hey guys,
I was wondering, is there a way to setup some type of remote FTP to run weekly backups that would send to a specific directory on a PC from the server, rather than the backups staying on the server and hiking up the disc space ?

Hello :) Yes, you can configure the upload of your backups to a remote FTP server via: "WHM Home " Backup " Backup Configuration" It's documented here: Backup Configuration Thank you. 0 -
Now is there a way to "Manually" disable Legacy backups? We turned it on last night, and our /dev/md2/ is now locked at 100%, and now we can't access WHM to disable the backups. We have removed old logs, backups, etc. And it is still locked at 100%. So we need to find a way to disable the Legacy backups (turn them off) as we only have access currently via SSH & FTP. 0 -
You can manually edit the following file to disable legacy backups from the command line: /etc/cpbackup.conf
Make sure "BACKUPENABLE" is set to "no":BACKUPENABLE no
Note that you will need to delete the archives in /backup/cpbackup if you want to remove the existing legacy backup files. Thank you.0
