changing permission to a specific script

Hello, How can I change permission to specific file? I want only that the creator of the site will have access to the file I have linux + apache, and .htaccess changing solution is fine. Thanks :)

  It would help to know where the file is located and what exactly you want them to be able to do. Technically, as far as the server is concerned, setting the ownership of the file to the cPanel user in question is sufficient. However, if this file is part of an application, the solution is slightly different. I'm afraid your question is a little too open to narrow down to a specific solution.

  Hello :) As for the action itself, you can change file permissions via FTP or File Manager within cPanel. Thank you.
