csf.conf not updating through WHM

I've been configuring my csf settings through WHM, but when I checked the csf.conf file on the server (/csf/csf.conf), the values don't match what I see in WHM. Shouldn't it update when I make changes through WHM, or is there another file I should be looking at?:confused:

  I found the file WHM is updating. apparently WHM updates the file found in /etc/csf/ and not the file found in /root/csf/ which file is the server using, and why is it in 2 places? very confusing...:confused:

  Hello :) Please keep in mind that CSF is a third-party application that is not developed by cPanel. You may want to post on the ConfigServer support forums for assistance with this issue. Thank you.

  the config should only be in /etc/csf/, not in your root directory. Perhaps someone extracted the installation files in root to install them? Regardless, /etc/csf/csf.conf is the correct config file.
