    1) Certain operations contained within cPanel, as well as the activity of your users, are directly impacted by the speed of your disks and why type of RAID you are doing. Disk-intensive operations - namely MySQL, backups, and IMAP, can cause I/O bottlenecks that will potentially be a larger issue if you also utilize swap space with insufficient amounts of RAM. With that said, If you're going to use 7.2K drives, go with the 6Gb/s. I'm sure others here can weigh in on their experiences with these drives in a hosting environment, but perhaps we might be able to give you more sound advise if you provide a use case. For example, is this for shared hosting? How many users? What type of activity do you expect on the server? What are the CPU/RAM specs? 2) As far as compatibility is concerned, all of these above have been known to work just fine with cPanel. However, again, it comes down to how you plan to utilize VM's in your infrastructure. Each of these technologies virtualize environments differently.

Hello :) I would personally go with the increased speed over the additional space, but as Vanessa mentioned, it really depends on how you intend on using the server and the type of content that you will host. Thank you.
