WHM Web Template Editor not rendering images
Hi there!
This is making me crazy and I know it's got to be something really simple:
If I am changing the Default Website Page using the template editor and want to add images, I understand the images are to be uploaded to the img-sys folder. What is the html code to link this, I am at a loss as they won't show up. Also I am using a css file, where would that go?
I've tested so many variations and also tried adding manually to the skeleton directory as mentioned in this forum (btw, there was no index file there although I did create one) yet no luck with that either.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!!

Hello :) I used the code you referenced and it worked successfully on a test server. Check to make sure the image uses 0644 permissions and is owned by the "root" user. Also, ensure the images are uploaded to the "/usr/local/cpanel/img-sys/" directory, and that you are editing the root template and not logged in as the reseller (unless you are editing it for reseller-owned accounts). Thank you. 0 -
I knew it had to be something silly. I had the URL correct, but I went ahead and changed those permissions and now we're good. Also for anyone else, I added the css directly to the page. Thanks much!! 0 -
I am happy to see you were able to resolve the issue. Thank you for updating us with the outcome. 0
