Nameserver not working
Hello everyone,
Today i got a new server and i installed cpanel and started configuring it as usual, installation went smoothly as always, i have setup the nameservers and all other things in the installation steps and then tried to make a first new account, but it didn't worked because nameservers are not working. For some reason they are simply not responding. The domain i used for nameserver is hosted at godaddy and i have, of course, assigned hosts with the server IPs in order to create private nameserver, as i did 100's of times already and added the private nameservers to the domain it self, it all went smoothly as well, but neither i can ping the domains from anywhere, neither i can access them on any other way.
I checked the DNS zones and they are fine, IPs are pingable from outside of the network, so the firewall is not an issue, i tried adding subdomain of a nameserver domain to see if i will be able to get it working, but it's not functioning either.
When i do the DNS checks, it says that my nameservers are not responding on tcp requests. My IPs does respond but the nameservers ( the domain ) does not because they are not resolving to anywhere.
I hope i could explain this weird issue, it's hard for me to explain it because it never happen to me in the past on any other server, so if anyone can tell me what should i do i would be extremely thankful.
Thanks

cPanelBenny has posted a very detailed thread about nameservers that you might like to review to see if it's helpful to you, here: [Tutorial] Nameserver configuration on cPanel servers - cPanel Forums 0 -
Believe me i know how to configure nameservers, i have configured and administrated hundreds of linux servers. When i do " dig +short @localhost $HOSTNAME" im not getting any response, but i can't find anything in error log either. 0 -
Hello :) Please try rebuilding the DNS configuration via: mv /etc/named.conf /etc/named.conf.backup /scripts/rebuilddnsconfig
Thank you.0
