A lot of HANG: chkservd mails and cpanel not biding ports 2086, 2087, 2083, 2082, 2095, 2096

Hello all, Today i noticed one of our servers sending a lot of HANG: chkservd mails and noticed that the cpanel service running however stopped to bind ports 2086, 2087, 2083, 2082, 2095, 2096, then no one can connect cpanel, whm or webmail The server load is good all the time, sites working normally, just cpanel services not available. We use in this server cloudlinux + cagefs saw some old threads in the forum suggesting disabling cagefs, disabling spam, but not helped. i did cpanel restart but the service still not biding ports. tailwatchlog, messages and chkserdlog not loged any error or relevant message to help in troubleshooting. Do someone have any idea of how troubleshoot it? Regards.

  Hello :) To clarify, is cpsrvd listening on the standard ports? You can check with this command: netstat -lnp | grep :208
  If not, do you notice any error messages in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log when restarting cPanel? Thank you.

  Hello Michael, i ran the command and no ports listening is showed. On this log i found a lot of lines with [2014-05-09 12:05:37 -0300] info [cpanellogd] Unable to load summary files: /var/cpanel/bandwidth/username....

  To update, the issue was resolved by forcing an update of cPanel using "/scripts/upcp --force". Thank you.
