cPanel/WHM subdomain redirection
I am curious as to how to do this.
I have noticed that when I go to "domain.com/whm" or "domain.com/cpanel" everything behaves the way that it should. I can even put "customerdomain.com/cpanel" and it redirects correctly to "companydomain.com/cpanel"
But when i go to "whm.domain.com" (ssl installed on this domain) it works correctly.
But if one my customers go their cpanel account "cpanel.customerdomain.com" (no ssl installed on this domain) it generates ssl untrusted error. How do I get around this? Any suggestions?
I have searched all throughout the internet, and each time it references how to create a subdomain or redirect a subdomain in cpanel.
Thanks in advance.

Also if anyone knows how to redirect the cPanel/WHM proxy domains (whm, cpanel, webdisk, webmail) from: "cpanel.customersdomain.com" to "customersdomain.com/cpanel" that would be great. I found one user that did it, but there weren't any instructions. 0 -
Have a look at the options here: WHM " Server Configuration " Tweak Settings, Redirection tab. 0 -

I definitely have. And there is not anything listed to what I am trying to do. when my customer types in their brower: whm.xyz123domain.com or cpanel.xyz123domain.com, I would like for it to redirect it to: xyz123domain.com/whm or xyz123domain.com/cpanel is this possible?0 -
You might need to mess with "proxy subdomains" under "domains" in tweak settings. I would speculate if you have this option enabled: [quote]Proxy subdomain override [?] Allow users to create cpanel, webmail, webdisk and whm subdomains that override automatically generated proxy subdomains
You could then make a cpanel.domain.com subdomain and use a standard htaccess redirect to domain.com/cpanel0
