Can access files via File Manager but not FTP.

Hello, A client of mine bought a domain name somewhere but wants me to host the files. I have pointed the DNS to my server and created a A record. It's working fine the website is now showing files who could be sitting on my server. - Removed - But I am having issues trying to connect via FTP. I just can't log in. I notice that if you want to connect right from the browser you don't get any authentification window while you usually do for other websites. What do you think could be the problem? I can access the files fine with the Cpanel manager and File manager. Many thanks for your time on this. Regards. Guillaume

  Hello, I think there is an issues with the firewall. Can you please try to stop firewall on your server and check again.

  Hello :) Most browsers are not really optimal for FTP activity. Please also ensure you try accessing FTP from a FTP client (e.g. Filezilla). Thank you.

  Sorry for the late reply. Problem is fixed. I had indeed created an A record but the DNS were not properly pointing to my server. Thanks for your time on this. Guillaume
