Removing 1 DNS cluster, how to replace with primary IP?

I have 3 standalone DNS servers that I have setup as clusters on my main WHM server. I have disabled 1 DNS server, that leaves me to 2 working servers. I had a lot of domains using those 3 nameservers and I can't change all of them. I want to replace the IP of the removed DNS server with the WHM's server shared IP. Is removing the DNS server in the cluster the only step I should perform? *Yes, I need to replace my IPs with the domain registrar, let's skip this step for this discussion. I want to know if there are other necessary steps to do with WHM.

  Hello :) You would need to ensure the accounts are configured on the correct IP addresses on the hosting server. Then, when you synchronize the changes to the DNS-Only servers, the zones will update to reflect the recent changes. Thank you.
