Possible to change language for individual webmail email account area?

    Hello :) Language is not configurable on a per-email-account basis. However, the individual webmail applications do have an options menu where the user can configure their preferred language. Thank you.

    OK, thanks. The employees (email users) have already figured out how to change the language for the webmail softwares (roundcube, etc)... but they also want to change the other parts (change pw, email trace, forwarder & auto reply setup, email config pages, etc..) It would be nice if each email account had the ability to choose their own language.

    Another employee reminded me of the ability to set a language when accessing webmail at the login page. Before logging in to webmail, a user can browse to the bottom of the page and select the locale matching their own language. Thank you.

    Hi Michael, Oh, I think the new feature request is under moderation or something... Yes, the suggestion to use the language link under the webmail login page works great! I don't know why I didn't see that previously, nor any of our customers! It seems like one of those things that your brain just blanks out after a while and you don't even notice it anymore. (Like web ads, and the spider webs on my ceilings.) Maybe because the language links kind of look like they're part of the footer/copyright stuff... and nobody notices that stuff, right? So I will instruct the customers to change their language before login, and that should make them happy. (The feature request is to add an option to email accounts, so their language choice is permanent and will occur even if they don't click a language prior to login.) Thanks again!

    I voted for the your feature as it would be beneficial to have a permanent selected language like you mentioned. Although then I saw Kenneth's post about using the browser's cookies. This would be a good but possibly redundant feature?

    The cookies only come into play when clicking one of the languages on the login form. Because cookies are often deleted by users, this is a rather unreliable means of determining the preferred language. I agree that webmail/email users should have a means of setting some preferences, such as language.
