How to change alert from e-mail address?

Hello, Can anyone help me fix this problem I am facing I currently have WHM/cPanel with CSF installed on my server I received security email alerts to my inbox and the from address is: root@host my question is How can I set the from address to have them sent from admin@host or something else. I have already checked "Edit System Mail Preferences" and "Server Contact Manager" and couldn't find anything.

  Hello :) Could you elaborate on which specific email alert you are referring to? Note that it's by design that alerts are sent out from "root". Thank you.

  That alert is not from cPanel. It's from CSF/LFD, a third-party application that you installed on your system. You may need to check their support forums for assistance with determining if it's possible to modify their alerts. Thank you.

  Hello, As cPanelMichael mentioned, that's coming from csf. If memory serves, there was a FROM_EMAIL configuration in /etc/csf/csf.conf that can be set to an email address that you want the messages sent from (blank was root).
