Backup problem - 3 MB becomes 1TB
Hi,
I have a bit of a problem with backups (two days in a row).
As you can see from the log below, while creating a backup of mysql database (the size of database in question is about 3M), backup software writes to backup destination >1TB (in this case " 1165212626944 bytes). This causes backup to stuck and i have to kill process manualy. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Hello :) Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can attempt to reproduce the issue on your system and determine why it's happening? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you. 0 -
Hi, I think this happened because the MySQL database was broken. After repairing all databases on MySQL server, the scheduled backup completed without any problems. As a feature request: perhaps backup software could check if everything is ok with database before trying to dump and backup it. Or auto-repair all databases before backup ;) 0 -
That would likely be classified as a bug report. Were you able to submit a ticket so we could reproduce the issue? Thank you. 0
