using smtp.domain.xxx and pop3.smtp.domain.xxx or imap.smtp.domain.xxx hostnames for email
I have seen that Android email client use by default those names and the same
practice is followed by other email providers.
Wouldn't it be recommended to follow the same practice on CPanel?

It's not really standard - mail.domain.com is pretty common, and that's what cPanel uses. You can easily edit the DNS zone template to add smtp and pop subdomains by default though. 0 -
Hello :) As Vanessa mentioned, you can add those DNS records manually and in the zone templates if you prefer to utilize those hostnames in your email clients. Or, if you would like to see them configured by default, you could submit a feature request via: Submit A Feature Request Thank you. 0
