    It's not really standard - mail.domain.com is pretty common, and that's what cPanel uses. You can easily edit the DNS zone template to add smtp and pop subdomains by default though.

    Hello :) As Vanessa mentioned, you can add those DNS records manually and in the zone templates if you prefer to utilize those hostnames in your email clients. Or, if you would like to see them configured by default, you could submit a feature request via: Submit A Feature Request Thank you.
