Change multiple sites IP, IP dedicated to only one account?

Hello, when i use: WHM > Multi-Account Functions >Change Multiple Sites' IP its ok, but it assign only one account on IP and dont change others IP, returning error: "Setting up for ip change..... Done Sorry, IPHERE is in use by another domain name and is not a shared ip." How can i make that new IP accept more sites/accounts please?

  Is the IP you're changing to, in use by the Reseller, and shared? Manage Reseller's Shared IP - cPanel Documentation

  I dont have any reseller accounts in WHM (tried "Show Reseller Accounts"). Please where can i make that IP shared, not reserved.

  WHM " Server Configuration " Basic cPanel & WHM Setup, Basic Config tab: [QUOTE]* The IP address (only one address) that will be used for setting up shared IP virtual hosts. Setting an IP not associated with this server is possible but not advised.

  Im on that "Basic Config" tab, but i dont see how can i enable that IP so it can be used for existing accounts

  To have more than one shared IP, you should create a Reseller account and give him the new IP address. New accounts owned by him, will use that new IP address. Since you have no Reseller accounts, I assumed you wanted to change the main shared IP, my mistake I guess.

  No, i dont want to change shared main IP, i need to use more IPs as shared so no all accounts are at same IP, so its more distributed. But i dont know how to set that additional IP/s as shared, im not reseller in WHM, i own whm root. :-/

  You can temporarily modify the main shared IP address via "Basic cPanel & WHM Setup" in WHM, update the IP addresses to that IP, and then change it back. This IP is simply the default IP address for new accounts, so changing it does not alter existing account configurations. Thank you.

  Michael: Thanks, wow you mean "modify the main shared IP address"? You say "Update the IP addresses to that IP, and then change it back". you mean which IP and where exactly "update" it please?

  For instance, after changing the main shared IP address, you can use "WHM Home " IP Functions " Change a Site"s IP Address" to modify the IP address of the account. Thank you.
