Can I delete /var/spool/exim/db/retry

This file is huge and I have no idea what it is for. Maybe to decide what email is to be sent again? If I remove it what will happen?

  Hello :) You could simply use a command such as: exim_tidydb -t 7d /var/spool/exim retry
