[Case 103473] PuTTY PPK conversion doesn't work

    Hello :) Internal case 103473 is open to address this issue. There is currently no specific time frame available on when a resolution will be released, but please feel free to monitor our change log for the case number. In the meantime, the current workaround is to use the Puttygen application on your desktop. Thank you.

    Here is another (non-desktop) workaround: - if you still has password based ssh access to the server you can run: mkdir -p ~/.ssh/putty /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/puttygen ~/.ssh/id_dsa -O private -o ~/.ssh/putty/id_dsa.ppk - if you don't - the other way is to ask your WHM admin to do it for you.

    Is there any progress in this simple case? For the last 2 months we need to generated PPKs manually.

    Yes, progress has been made by our developers on internal case number 103473. The resolution is scheduled for a future build of cPanel version 11.44, but no exact time frame is currently available. Thank you.
