file and dir permissions when uploading

Hi im getting some issues with new accounts ive created for some of my sites. When i upload i get blank screens or permission issues. i then have to set all the files and folder permissions back to 744 and 644 for the site to work. I wouldnt mind this but i have to do this for every site i upload and at the moment im manually transferring 40-50 sites one by one. Ive checked my suPhp and thats up and running but im at a loss at the moment as theres so many post about it but ive not found a solution. Any info or help would be massively grateful Cheers Chris

  Hello, Your access level isn't listed, so I don't know whether you have full root access to your server or not. If so, you should check error log files to see if something jumps out at you. If not, please get with your provider to assist you with looking at log files. If you (or they) need assistance with this, please feel free to open a support ticket and we'll be happy to investigate that for you/them.
