DomainKeys
Hi there, we're Email Service Provider company. As you know, the cPanel automatically signs outgoing emails with DKIM and SPF records. We've done that. But the problem is that our emails are not signed with DomainKeys (we know it's older version of DKIM but Yahoo Mail still checks both DomainKeys and DKIM) and so it's not getting pass the Yahoo Mail's spam check. How do i configure and make the emails signed with DomainKeys?
Here is the result of email header sent to Yahoo Mail:
Received-SPF: pass (domain of xxxxxxxxxxxx designates xxxxxxxx as permitted sender)
Authentication-Results: mta1678.mail.gq1.yahoo.com from=xxxxxxxxxxxx; domainkeys=neutral (no sig); from=xxxxxxxxxxxx; dkim=pass (ok)
Also here is the result of Port25's email authentication:

Summary of Results
==========================================================
SPF check: pass
DomainKeys check: neutral
DKIM check: pass
Sender-ID check: pass
SpamAssassin check: ham
thank you!

Hello :) Are you positive the lack of a domain keys record is the reason you are not passing Yahoo Mail's SPAM check? While they may check for both DKIM and Domain Keys, I would presume that DKIM is acceptable and the domain keys check is intended for mail servers without DKIM. How can we reproduce this Yahoo SPAM check? Thank you. 0 -

Hi Michael, thanks for your reply. Actually we've enrolled in Yahoo bulk sender application and they say if we made some changes to our emailing policy then they would consider adding us to whitelist. But we've already verified our subscribers and they have all double opt-in users. Also we follow the anti-spam act such as CAN-SPAM and do provide users to able to unsubscribe from our mailing list instantly. I've checked other EPS such as VerticalResponse and others and their email headers shows passing both DKIM and DomainKeys. Thanks0 -
I suggest contacting Yahoo directly to verify that using domain keys would make a difference. Support for domain keys with cPanel ended when DKIM was implemented. Thank you. 0
