    Hello :) Check to see if Named is running in a chroot environment with a command such as: ps aux|grep named
    If it is, you will see it running like this: /usr/sbin/named -u named -t /var/named/chroot
    You should not run Named in a chroot environment. If it's running in a chroot environment, you can modify the following file: /etc/sysconfig/named
    Ensure the "ROOTDIR="/var/named/chroot" entry is commented out, save the file, and then restart Named. Thank you.

    To update, this issue was resolved after uninstalling bind-chroot and manually removing some leftover symbolic links from it's installation. Thank you.
