Having Some Technical Issues With Changes Updating
Hello, I need some assistance immediately. I am a vps cpanel customer through my webhost.
Anyways,
I had my webhost edit a cpanel server file to get rid of the direct /whm and /cpanel urls.
They edited the file named "main" on the serverside cpanel files after checking with the cpanel team to verify it was okay.
Shortly after, I noticed my cpanel was having problems. When uploading an image to overwrite another image, it would not update. I tried getting around this by renaming the image I wanted to overwrite and uploading the other image but it still would not update on the webpage and website.
Image files will not update on my webpage nor will they update on the cpanel when overwriting.
Please help me understand where this went wrong and what changes need to be made to fix the "main" file that was edited. My webhost said she restored the backup exactly as it was.
What steps do I need to fix this. Thank you.

Hello :) Could you elaborate on how you are uploading the file, and if any errors are output to /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log when it fails to load? Thank you.0 -

Yes, I am uploading it through file manager. I receive a 404 file error when I clear cache and cookies. This is due to the cpanel ssl. But, for some reason I am still having these problems. At first I thought it was a corrupt cookie that would not allow the image to update with the editing of that file somehow causing it. I've tried everything and your help is greatly appreciated. Please review the following log file when uploading an image through File Manager: /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log Do you notice any output when the image upload fails? Thank you. 0 -

These are all the errors I get. And I believe it indeed has something to do with the editing of this cpanel server file. Please update me soon. Thanks again. .vB EDITED BY STAFF: Removed uncensored attachment0 -
There should be no need to report your own post on these forums. Please refrain from doing so. If you need something edited, post here in the thread, and say so. 0 -
There is a know bug related to Cpanel filemanager in 11.44. You need to unsinatll ClamAV connector through "WHM >> Plugins" to solve it. Try uploading files through FTP and see if that works. 0 -

Can you link us to the known post about that please? Thanks.0 -
Hi TheXboxCloud, Do you have root access to the server? If so, feel free to submit a support ticket so we can take a closer look. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Regarding the message from user "velnix", if you are referring to internal case 103893, that occurs when ClamAV is installed but clamd is disabled in Service Manager. File uploads via File Manager result in a hung clamdscan process and the upload doesn't complete. Thank you. 0
