Hello :) What method did you use to upgrade to MySQL 5.5? Did you ensure PHP was rebuilt using EasyApache during the process? What's the output in /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log when this error occurs? Thank you. 0 -
Hello Team, sorry here I need also upgrade from mysql 5.1 to 5.5, so whitch methode we can use here, also we need to up all php libs with mysql5.5 and related pakeges . so please advice . Regards, Shufil 0 -
Hi, Upgrade Mysql through WHM, Home " Software " MySQL Upgrade and follow the instructions. At the end you will see option for PHP compilation that is EasyApche just select it and proceed with the upgrade. If you still facing same errors, run /scripts/easyapache on the shell. Thanks, EthSupport 0 -
Yes, it's advised to upgrade MySQL directly through Web Host Manager: "WHM Home " Software " MySQL Upgrade" Thank you. 0 -
Hello, Thanks, Thanks for support, :) . may be its not happen, by chance If my new mysql vertion not support current DB, so what we do that situvation . Regards, Shufil 0 -
The "500 Iternal server Error" is webserver error and checking the apache logs will be more helpful. MySQL version change won't affect the functionality of existing DBs. The issue looks to be related with php mysql extension. Please make a php recompile with updated mysql extension and check. You may check mysql log file for any possible db issues through /var/lib/mysql/server_name.err 0
