Shared SSL Installation
I am having an issue with getting my WHM server certificate to work as the shared SSL cert.
Running latest CURRENT version of cPanel / WHM.
I have the server domain: node1.domain.com and have the service SSL certificates configured correctly on the WHM side of things.
When I go to Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain, I input the cert, private key and domain name. When I hit install, it tells me:
So, the shared SSL defaults to another SSL certificate I have on the server as one of the domains. Is there anyway to get the node1.domain.com SSL to become shared? Also, there is no option in "Manage SSL Hosts" to make the node1.domain.com the primary.
The domain "node1.domain.com" is not managed on this server. You must specify an IP address to install SSL for "node1.domain.com" or set up this domain on a new account, or create it as parked domain, a subdomain, or an addon domain of an existing account, and try again. So, the shared SSL defaults to another SSL certificate I have on the server as one of the domains. Hello :) You must specify an IP address when installing that certificate instead of leaving it set to "Auto-Discover". Thank you. 0 -
Not sure why the server went crazy - did a reboot - re ran the update - no problems. Thanks for responding so quickly. - Issue resolved and all back to normal. 0 -
