email forwarding not working
Until recently my email forwarder was working correctly where
User@domain.ca got forwarded to user@gmail.com
For the last few days, most of the emails are not getting forwarded to my gmail account.
I have tried the trace and everything is in order.
Is there anything else I should be trying please help!

I have a login for cpanel in which I can access my emails etc. is that where I would check the root access. Sorry I'm very new to this and since the emails are not coming through we are having a lot of problems getting back to our customers 0 -
Hello, No, you would require server access (which you do not have if you are only using the login for your cPanel). Please get with your hosting provider to have them check the /var/log/exim_mainlog file to see what the problem might be. If they need assistance they are welcome to open up a support ticket with us. 0 -
I had this exact problem, and after several frustrating hours and a lot of panic I received this from my cPanel hosting support team: "There was an issue with the spamd service on the server which was protecting the emails been forwarded or sent from thexxxxxxxoup.co.uk. This issue is now resolved. Can you please check your forwarder service again, you should not face any issue with it." They initially told me the problem was with gmail or my mx records, which I knew it wasn't, so my advice would be to send this response to your cPanel hosting support team as soon as possible.
