Resize root partition
Hi folks,
I have few question about my root partition, my root partition is going 100% from time to time (email queue, backup, ...) I have 20Gb and I found that really stressful to always reach 90 / 100 %, how could I resize this partition ?
here is the result from dh -f
df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
rootfs 20G 16G 3,5G 82% /
/dev/root 20G 16G 3,5G 82% /
devtmpfs 16G 460K 16G 1% /dev
/dev/md2 1,8T 961G 761G 56% /home
has you can see Y have 761G available, and I would like to know if it's possible to push let say 55GB (for a total of 75GB) to the root partition ?
Thank's for your help !

Hello :) It's likely a better idea to migrate/backup the accounts to a remote server, and then reinstall the OS with the recommended partition scheme. Resizing the partitions on the fly is not supported, and should be handled by a qualified system administrator if you decide to take that route. cPanel Installation - Recommended Partitions Thank you. 0
