Cloudlinux Upgrading Question

Hello :) Directly upgrading from CL5 to CL6 is a major upgrade, the same way it is if you had to upgrade from CentOS 5 to CentOS 6. Ideally, you should configure a new server with CloudLinux 6, and then migrate your accounts over to it using the cPanel transfer tools. Thank you.

So it means, we can't upgrade cloudlinux from 5 to 6 :(

You wouldn't really want to anyway. If that upgrade fails, you'd lose the server. Far better to get a new server and migrate.

Right, direct upgrades like that are rarely recommended. Instead, you should setup the new OS on a new server and migrate the accounts. Thank you.
