Wordpress installation not functioning under temporary url access
Hi all,
I'm new to cpanel/whm, but am making the slow transition from Enkompass. I've managed to get a users website up as a temporary url using the ~username. However I used softaculous to install wordpress and now I can not get access to the wordpress installation. It seems that it keeps wanting to redirect to the actual

I looked and the accounts being created on the cpanel machine are not picking up the ip address of the server since it is supposed to be a shared ip. Instead the websites are picking up an internal ip like 192.x.x.x 0 -
You can modify the main shared IP address via: "WHM Home " Server Configuration " Basic cPanel & WHM Setup" You can also use a command such as "ifconfig" to see if you have configured an internal IP address. Thank you. 0 -

Thanks for the info. I found the area to change the shared IP. Everything is working ok now.0
