[Resolved] Firewall and antivirus for DOS activity

Hi all, My website was querying a lot of 80 port to other IP, my sever have not firewall and antivirus.(DOS activity) I used Cpanel, could anyone introduce the best and free firewall and antivirus? What can I do about this? What other software should I install to Cpanel Thanks all! [COLOR="silver">- - - Updated - - - I am using Cpanel now, and where can I install these software. Thanks!

  Hello :) Your access level is listed as "Website Owner". Do you have root access to this server? If not, you will not be able to install a firewall. Thank you.

  Yes, I have root access to the sever. The hosting provider suggest me to install firewall and antivirus. Thank you!

  Thank your reply. I had installed the ClamAV and the Firewall, but where can I install the Webmin Module? in Cpanel or WHM? <-----finished Install the csf webmin module in: Webmin > Webmin Configuration > Webmin Modules > From local file > /usr/local/csf/csfwebmin.tgz > Install Module where can in find the Webmin? Thanks!

  Webmin is a completely separate control panel that is not related at all to cPanel. You should not install Webmin on a cPanel server. The CSF documentation you quoted is for Webmin, not cPanel. Disregard the instructions to install the Webmin module, because Webmin has nothing to do with cPanel and Webmin is not installed by default on a cPanel server. The documentation you are asking about refers to a module for Webmin, not a module named Webmin. Basically, it is instructions for installing CSF on a completely different control panel that is not related to cPanel at all. Follow the instructions that are specific for cPanel. If you have more questions about installing CSF, you really need to talk to its developer directly. CSF is not a cPanel product, so we do not provide support for it.
