GoDaddy cPanel gdform.php is missing 404 error
Hello guys!
I have started to use godaddy, a friend of mine started using goDaddy a few years ago so I was happy to sign up.
He has Godaddy's control panel. When I signed up I was given cPanel. I do not know anything about it so I have no idea where things are, in the old Godaddy control panel it was very easy to use.
But anyway, my issue is with the mailer form.
In the old Godaddy control Panel, it was easy to get the mailer sorted!
Tools - Form Mail - then all that I need was there.
But I can't see anything to do with Form mailer on cPanel. No Tools section either.
I have set up an email with Godaddy and on cPanel. I have also used the code from Godaddy to use gdform.php.
This worked great with the old control panel, but now.....not so much. The gdform.php is missing i have no idea how to restore it also I have no way of telling it where to send form submits too. Oh yes, this is the 404 error. Not Found The requested URL /gdform.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Hope one of you guys can help me out, Godaddy could not! Thanks!

If they haven't added that form to the new cPanel servers, you wouldn't have it on the system. You'll need to find some other sort of mail form on the Web somewhere. This isn't a cPanel issue though.0 -
Would the html not be the same regardless of servers? The html form that I set up has the added From Godaddy, I would think that cPanel was just a user UI, and would not effect the servers in anyway? Or does it? My issue is that gdform.php is missing, I can see no way to restore it, or edit it in cPanel. In the old Godaddy panel it was under the tools section. Doesn't matter. The file was apparently a part of the file system on GoDaddy's old panel. Using the code that called it there, here on your new account, won't work, the file is not located at / it seems. [QUOTE] Hope one of you guys can help me out, Godaddy could not!
I think GoDaddy support certainly could help you to understand this easy enough. You might even ask them if they'd mind moving that old script from another server, to your current setup and see what they have to say about it. GL!0 -
OK Thanks Intopro, I will give them another call now, see if I can get this sorted out. 0
