subdomain in cPanel
Hi all,
How can I set the subdomain?
For example: dx.domain.com subdomain to Document Root public_html/dx (domain.com/dx/index.html)
But when I input the address dx.domain.com, it go to the page dx.domain.com/dx/index.html and show the no file page
How can I set to domain.com/dx/index.html?
Thanks!

Hello, I think you have incorrect document root path of your subdomain. Please check the Document root path and change it [url=http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/CpanelDocs/SubDomains]Subdomains 0 -
Fixed the problem. Thanks? 0 -

Hi, To add to the question.... how can you password a directory that has been mapped to a jvm? You can password the physical directories but typing in the url brings up those files in the "passworded" directory. I need to have these files only accessed after a password eg /http://subdomain.mydomain/mainpage.html can only be accessed after a password. Any ideas? thanks, jda 0
