What to use as my smtp server in Windows Task Scheduler?
Greetings!
I'm new to this forum.
I want to schedule a task in my Windows 2008 Server to send out emails every morning. I have the options of using the win task scheduler itself or sendmail app. But, they are asking me for smtp serve address, something like smtp.gmail.com.Now, I have my website & email in Cpanel. I have configured Outlook to use our emails but I use mail.ourwebsitename.com for outgoing mail server. No 'smtp' and it works. But this does not work with sendmail application or Task Scheduler send mail part. Is there anything I can use for smtp for my emails/webmails on Cpanel??
I hope I tried to explain myself.

Using mail.yourdomain.com is correct. Maybe there's a language barrier here, but I'm not really understanding why this isn't working for you. 0 -

Could you elaborate more on how it does not work? What particular error message do you receive? Thank you.0
