MySQL upgrade via Software does not show MySQL 5.5

    You are on a version of cPanel that doesn't support 5.5. Try upgrading to 11.38 first, then upgrade MySQL to 5.5. To do this, you'll need to SSH into your server and edit /etc/wwwacct.conf, set CPANEL=11.38, then run /scripts/upcp.

    Thanks for your response. I tried to update cPanel, but there was no line in wwwact.conf with CPANEL= So I manually set that line with 11.38, run the script but cPanel still says it is 11.30.8 and MySQL 5.5 still doesn't show up.. Any idea's? Thanks again!

    Hi, Try setting the value CPANEL=11.38 in the file /etc/cpupdate.conf

    Ugh, yea, sorry. /etc/cpupdate.conf is what I meant :rolleyes:
