About full backup and restoration
Hi All,
How could I set the schedule to full backup the website (all file and Mysql) by WHM (in Backup Configuration) or Cpanel?
Could I download the full backup file and Mysql to local computer after backup?
When I change the sever, what step should I do in WHM and Cpanel?
1, backup all file
2, Set the EasyApache in new sever
3, upload the webiste to new sever
4, set the domain and ip
Thanks!

Hello :) You can schedule and configure backups via: "WHM Home " Backup " Backup Configuration" You can select an "Additional Destinations" if you want the backups stored on a separate server. Otherwise, you could download the locally stored backups to your computer using SFTP or SCP if necessary. Please see the following thread about copying/moving configuration values to a new server: Transferring cPanel configuration to new server Thank you. 0 -
Hi Michael, Thank for your helping! I enable the Backup Status in Backup Configuration. There are 5 copies in the Backup Restoration as the image following: .vB I would like to ask if all these copies are full backup (including all website files,MySQL, Mail Configuration and subdomains ) or only MySQL, Mail Configuration and subdomains as the right hand side of the image? And where could I delete some copy of the backup (for example: 13/7 and 15/7)? Thank you very much! 0 -
Hello :) The options on the right-hand menu simply allow you to exclude or include particular items during the restoration. The backups would include the full account data unless you specifically excluded items in the backup configuration. You can manually delete existing backups from their directory. EX: /backup/2014-06-09/username.tar.gz Thank you. 0
