cPanel Installation Error

Hello, When I try to install cPanel in CentOS 6 64, I get this error, [root@weddingdressit home]# sh latest Verifying archive integrity... All good. How to solve this error? Please help me

    You need to change the server's hostname to a fully qualified domain name, as the output says: 2014-07-21 12:42:25 375 (ERROR): Your hostname (weddingdressit) is not set properly. Please 2014-07-21 12:42:25 376 (ERROR): change your hostname to a fully qualified domain name, 2014-07-21 12:42:25 377 (ERROR): and re-run this installer.
    weddingdressit is not a valid fully-qualified domain name. Our installation documentation explains the need for a fully-qualified hostname:

    Thank you very much. I solved it by changing it to the server ip since I haven't transfered my domain to this server. Thank you again.

    Please do not use the server's IP address as the hostname. It is simply not valid. It will cause problems. It does not matter if the domain is transferred or not; that actually has nothing to do with it. The articles I linked to offer several examples of valid fully-qualified hostnames. I apologize that I did not mention it in my previous reply, but an IP address can never be a valid hostname on a Linux server. If you have already installed cPanel, log into the WebHost Manager and click Home " Networking Setup " Change Hostname. It will give you several examples of hostnames that are valid. Choose one, and set it. You need to fix this early, before you start adding accounts. As I said in my previous reply, the hostname must contain a host, a domain, and a top-level domain. An IP address contains none of those, so it simply cannot work as a valid hostname. What you have is simply not valid, and you need to fix it now before you start adding accounts. Take the domain you plan to use for hosting, and add something like server. or host. in front of it. That will give you a valid hostname. Using the server's IP address is not a shortcut and you will have problems with your Web sites and mail if you do not fix the hostname now.
