[Case 79913] Cannot re-add a MX entry
Hello,
I have a customer who deleted the default MX record, now when we try to recreate it from cpanel it doesn't work, no error message but the record is not created.
I manually edited the DNS zone and then the record appears in Cpanel but as I said from the front end it's not working.
Any ideas?

Hey, Try to add the MX record from WHM and see if you receive any errors when saving the settings ! >> Home "DNS Functions "Edit DNS Zone 0 -
Hi, from WHM works properly, from Cpanel, doesn't. 0 -
Hello, Is it the MX record alone having this issue from cPanel ? Did you try adding any other records ? Also only affecting a single cPanel account ? 0 -
We don't know, this is the only case we have so far 0 -
Hello :) Internal case number 79913 is open to address an issue where the MX record cannot be added after it's removal via "cPanel >> MX Entry". There is currently no time frame available for a resolution. The temporary workaround is to use WHM to edit the zone and add the entry. Thank you. 0 -
