mod_security rule problem

hi guys, before 1 day, my website got down. i have searched for the reason and i got. the error was:- Access denied with code 501 (phase 2). Match of "rx ^((?:(?:POS|GE)T|OPTIONS|HEAD))$" against "REQUEST_METHOD" required. [file "/usr/local/apache/conf/modsec2.user.conf"> [line "38"> [id "1234123435"> [msg "Method is not allowed by policy"> [severity "CRITICAL"> [tag "POLICY/METHOD_NOT_ALLOWED">
i think, this happen because of mod_security rule, it has changed so someone plz tell me how to fix this problem thnz for reading sorry for my bad english

  sorry for this topic it was ddos attack to apache server :(
