How to move add-on domain to a different main domain

I've searched the forum and I believe this one hasn't been covered. I need to move an add-on domain to another user. Not to its own account, though. I need to move it as an add-on. Is there a way to do this simply by copying files through the command line and updating some cPanel values somewhere, or running some cPanel scripts?

  Hello :) You will find useful information on the following thread: Moving Addon Domain Name To It's Own Account It's essentially the same process, except you are moving it as an addon domain name to another account as opposed to creating it as a new account. Thank you.

  Thanks Michael! Yes, I'm familiar with that thread. I was actually looking for a way to move files and edit configuration details without actually removing the addon domain. Anyway, I moved what I needed to move and simply did a quick job of removing the domain from the original account and adding it to the new one.
