Erro: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No buffer space available

I wonder if someone could help me with my problem, I'm several days with my VPS with WHM showing sometimes the message Error: SQLSTATE [HY000] [2002] No buffer space available, if they have any tips how to solve this, thank you.

  Hello :) Please review your MySQL error log when this happens (/var/lib/mysql/$hostname.err) and let us know the exact output. Thank you.

  Someone would help me what can this be, since I limited the number of connections mysql no more resolved I am to give up because I'm losing customers because of this problem.
