Thats very unfortunate. Our experience with the new tool is good and never met with any issues yet. Are the accounts big or you see any errors in the log files? There is a similar thread at

I just don't know what is the process needed to kill. I'm gonna re-install my OS and cPanel and I'll use file backups instead of account transfers. I used the old system of accounts transfer, and never have any issues. [COLOR="silver">- - - Updated - - - I have found the process, but when I Kill, the process UP again.

Hello :) The paused transfer should not prevent you from restoring the account from a backup archive if that's your preferred method. There are no native options to kill a paused transfer at this time, but you are welcome to submit a support ticket if you need assistance with ensuring the transfer system is working as intended. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome should you choose to submit one. Thank you.

The ability to "Abort" a transfer should be in 11.44 in the near future so killing it will be possible from the UI. The "Pause" button is designed to temporarily halt the transfer after any current threads are complete, and text to clarify this should either be in or will shortly be in 11.44. In regards to transfers taking time, there are a few known issues causing this in which fixes have been created but I am unsure if they would resolve the issue you might be having. With the changes to the tool there are a lot of new variables that can impact a transfer including: [LIST]
  • Number of restore or transfer threads (too many can cause bottle necks with slow systems)
  • Large amounts of small files can cause disk IO issues
  • Disk usage If you give some more information on source and destination servers (OS, database versions, account size, disk space available) or provide any warnings or errors you are seeing in your log I might be able to give you more information. Feel free to edit out any personal domain information as well. Also if you are having issues I believe we provide support to assist you in transfers (our transfer team is awesome!) so you can likely open a ticket if there are still any kind of conflicts.
