is backup dir created by default
I have seached the threads and read docs but still i cant find my /backup dir.. I want to customize the name but i want to make sure its in the same area were i put my new dir. My backups are not working because i assume it wont make my dir name by itself i have to create it in ssh first. So i just want to find the original so i can put my custom one in the same area, but i cant find any original. So that tells me that its not there and does not get created by default.
In that case does everything custom go in /etc or what?
thanks.. :)

The docs should be helpful here: Configure Backup Directory - cPanel Documentation Note: [QUOTE]We strongly recommend that you save your backups to a remote location in addition to a local destination.
Local destination does NOT mean on the same HDD. If you back up everything to the same drive, and something goes wrong and that drive dies, you lose it all. A second drive locally is a much better idea. Along with a remote drive on another server as well. The more backups the better. Backups are your friend. When backups run, proper directories are created if they do not exist.0 -
