No response from subprocess (whostmgr (cpanel)): subprocess was killed with signal 7
When attempting to login to WHM (as root) I get the following error:
Internal Server Error
500
No response from subprocess (whostmgr (cpanel)): subprocess was killed with signal 7
cpsrvd/11.42.1.25 Server at ***
Any ideas on how to fix this? Websites on the server are still online. I've tried restarting cpanel (service cpanel restart) and a reboot of the server with no luck.

Thanks for the response :) I don't really want to do that as I had been getting a message about updates not being applied recently due to the MySQL version on the server not being 5.5, which was blocking the update. As it stands the server is fully functional aside from WHM not working, so I don't want to force an update. Is there a script to reinstall the current cPanel version wihtout updating anything?0 -

I have just opened ticket # 5333967 regarding this issue.0 -
To update, it looks like this is the result of filesystem corruption. The user has been advised to run FSCK or consult with a system administrator for assistance troubleshooting the filesystem errors. Thank you. 0
