[Case 111565] Mailman and add-on domains

Hmm. - User has main domain example.com and add-on domain foobar.org. - Via cPanel user creates new mailing list "something" and explicitly sets it up on foobar.org. - Generated Mailman list is surprisingly something@example.com. User can use MM admin to change it to foobar.org, but changing this has no effect. What is the correct way to set up a Mailman list on an add-on domain? If it is not possible, why does the list creation interface indicate that it is possible? Thanks for any suggestions.

  Hmm, sounds like the problem may be specific to my box, not to all cPanel instances? I can reproduce the problem easily for any account on my server that has both a primary and one or more add-on domains.   Aha! So Servint couldn't solve it, they filed a ticket with cPanel, and it was discovered that the bug is actually in the Paper Lantern theme. Switching to X3 fixes the problem. They have filed a ticket for a permanent fix, though I don't have the ID. Unfortunately, this tells us that there is a dangerous coupling between cPanel themes and system functionality.
