Hello, Are you running out of system memory ? If so, Check # top -c ( shift+m ) to know what is consuming the memory. 0 -
Hi, Thanks for your reply. Yes our RAM is full thanks to MySQL process. I tried to kill that process but unfortunately SSH and WHM services are down now. Not sure what to do. Is it wise to power cycle server to get the service back and stop MYSQL. 0 -
Hi, Only 3 process in mysql but it's more than 50% of memory. Still all cpanel services are restarting. Can someone please help with this. 0 -
Hello, Is your MySQL the latest version ? ie 5.6.x ? Can you post your /etc/my.cnf here ? 0 -
Hello :) Are you sure the memory usage is what's causing services to fail? Please see this thread: Memory Usage Higher Than Expected Also, what error messages do you see in /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log when Apache fails? Thank you. 0 -

For instance, with Apache, your websites are actually down and it's not just the warning email you are receiving that you are concerned about right? What error messages do you see in /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log when Apache fails? Thank you. 0 -
Hi Michael, I have reviewed the link you have provided and i found around 30MB free out of 1024MB. Also in WHM it shows MYSQL uses 50%+ memory but only 3 process running. Is it something to worry about? I have pasted the result of # free -m total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 1024 993 30 0 0 0 -/+ buffers/cache: 993 30 Swap: 0 0 0 Thanks for your help [COLOR="silver">- - - Updated - - - Hi Michael, This is what i found in the error log root@ip-103-1-173-156 [/usr/local/apache/logs]# tail -f error_log [Thu Aug 21 15:10:41 2014] [warn] RSA server certificate is a CA certificate (BasicConstraints: CA == TRUE !?) Please check to see if rebuilding the Apache configuration file helps: /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf
I suggest opening a support ticket using the link in my signature if the issue persists so we can take a closer look. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you.0 -

Hello, If its MySQL 5.6.x, it might be due to the parameter 'performance_schema' which is enabled by default, and that consumes higher amount of system RAM, even in an idle state. 0 -
To update, it looks like a lack of memory is responsible for the services failing. You may want to try the suggestion in the previous post, or consider adding more RAM to your server. Thank you. 0
