HOME Directory backup shows error for certain accounts

Hello, I was trying to download the "HOME Directory" backup from cPanel. Backup completes but when I try to extract it, it shows as an error ============== tar: ./etc/passwd: Cannot hard link to `./etc/domain.com/passwd': Invalid cross-device link tar: ./etc/quota: Cannot hard link to `./etc/domain.com/quota': Invalid cross-device link tar: ./etc/shadow: Cannot hard link to `./etc/domain.com/shadow': Invalid cross-device link tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors ============== I see the folder in /home/user/etc/domain.com and the contents are 3 empty files for passwd, shadow and quota. But this account does not have any email accounts at all. Once I remove the folder /home/user/etc/domain.com, backup works fine. This happens for several accounts. Any idea how to fix this? I know the /home/user/etc/domain.com is associated with the email accounts in that domain, but in that case, it should also be saved in backup. Why is it showing error. Ownership and permission are all correct.
