What should I backup before CentOS upgrade?

    There is. Instead of backing up, downloading, updating server, rebuilding all your server configurations and settings, and then uploading all accounts to restore them, which would include downtime somewhere in this chain of events, purchase a new server that is already up to date. - Configure the server to your needs, duplicating how your current server is set up. - Setup a DNS Cluster between the two: DNS Cluster - cPanel Documentation - Use WHM to transfer accounts directly from one server to the other. The above is over simplified of course, but you're not in a rush to do this, take your time and look into it proper first.
