Stop processing email mail queue command?

Hello, is there any linux command suitable for a WHM server which stops all processes which attempting to deliver queued mails as scheduled? I mean example an bulk spam is sent out of server and i want to temporarilly stop all mailqueue delivery untill i clean the queue.. thx

  Hello :) You could stop Exim: service exim stop
  Then, ensure monitoring for it is disabled with Chkservd so it does not restart automatically: "WHM Home " Service Configuration " Service Manager" Thank you.
