Reboot to login

For some reason lately, I have been having to reboot my server in order to log in as root. I keep getting "The login is invalid." After I reboot the server,I am able to log in. What could be causing this? It does it on the VPS and the Dedicated accounts. Thank you

  Hello :) Do you have cPhulk brute force detection enabled? If so, check under "Login/Brute History Report" to see if the "root" account has been locked out recently. You may need to whitelist your IP address or consider disabling this option in favor of an alternative such as CSF/LFD. Thank you.
