    Looks good, thank you. Can't see anything about the databases, would this try to recreate them?

    Hello :) That third-party guide does reference "/var/lib/mysql" where your databases are stored. Note that this method of restoring a server is not supported. Ideally, you should backup your accounts using the included backup options so they can be restored in situations like this. Thank you.

    Thanks Guys - I have done it this way and everything appears OK Note: I'm unable to restore innodb tables though, so I've learned keeping daily backups is vital (prevention better than solution)
